The Museum of Lost Umbrellas is the first of The Cloud Witch Chronicles, a new middle-grade series published by Faber. It is the story of Dilly Kyteler, a young girl who moves to the magical island of Ollipest where umbrellas fly, doors grant wishes and dogs walk out of the sea.
Book 2, The Last Sea Monster of Ollipest, will be out in May 2027.

On Midnight Beach, (Faber) published in 2020. It is a reimagining of an Irish legend, The Táin. The story is reset in the long hot summer of 1976. Dog Cullen (Cúchulainn) and Maeve (Maedhbh) are teenagers in clogs, and bellbottom jeans and the bull is a wild dolphin. Told through the voices of Emer and Gus, it is at once a love story and a dramatic coming-of-age tale.
